THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Experienced in :
Unreal Engine (or Unity)
3D software such as : Maya or Blender

REQUIREMENTS:

• Producing benchmark materials and textures using Substance Painter.

• Produce high quality PBR textures for all real time assets.

• Create high quality, accurate models and UV’s based on references.

• Implement improvements/changes based on feedback and lead direction.

• Texture assets using a wide range of reference material and tools.

• Work with the defined pipeline.

• Troubleshoot creative and technical issues as they arise.

• Work closely with the modeling team to ensure the created model will work through a real time assets pipeline.

• Work with a production schedule and follow strict deadlines.

• Ability to work as part of a team, be resourceful and self-driven.

• Follow directory structure, naming conventions and other guidelines for surfacing files.

• Overseeing and developing the material library.

• Assisting in designing, implementing and maintaining material pipelines.

• Share knowledge and techniques with team members to improve overall team skills and asset quality.

• Modelling - High to Low pipeline

• Join team meetings.

• Help other creative team members to improve with any new found knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Unreal Engine, (Sequencer, Post Process Effects, lighting, materials, and optimisation).

• Understanding of how to prep models for Unreal and import/export assets.

• Must have a grasp on animation inside UE.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a close team environment.

• Knowledge of real world cameras, and an intuitive understanding of focal length, camera sensors, and depth of field.

• Good asset management skills (for example directory hierarchy, naming nomenclature etc.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Independent and self-driven; able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment.

• Experience with Maya, Blender, supporting 3D Softwares.

• Well versed with Build Pipeline / CICD / Advanced Source Control

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of multi-threaded principles

• Ability to work efficiently with a large, existing code base

• Knowledge of low-level system architecture

• Knowledge of software development environments and associated tools. (i.e. Visual Studio, Perforce, JIRA,Git)

• Strong reporting and documentation skills

• Fluent in English, both verbally and written

• Great communication skills and a positive attitude
